WORSHIP AT GRACE LUTHERAN

The community of Grace Lutheran exists to
WELCOME
people into the fellowship of Christ, to
PREPARE
believers to grow in the journey of life and to
REACH OUT
into daily life with the gift of grace.

The purpose of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church is to be a worshipping community of believers in Jesus Christ committed to outreach and sharing Christian Spirit, giving of our time and abilities to serve the mission of the larger church.

The community of Grace Lutheran gathers to worship and praise our Risen Lord Jesus Christ at least three times a week. Worship is based on the Holy Scriptures and follows the set theme for the day. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month. Communion is open to all baptized Christians who believe in the Real Presence of the living Christ in, with and under the elements of bread and wine. Children not communing are welcome at the Lord's Table to receive a blessing. For very small children, a nursery is available for those wishing to use it.

The weekly Sunday morning service is at 10:00am blends both traditional liturgies and hymns with more contemporary music and ways of worshipping God.

Early Sunday morning service is at 8:00am the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.

Lay volunteers assist with worship in many ways, such as reading the Scriptures, assisting with the distribution of Holy Communion, serving as an acolyte, ushering, and greeting at the door.

Special worship services are held throughout the church year, including Christmas Eve, Lent, Holy Week, Easter and Thanksgiving.
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
rooted and built up in him and established in the faith,
just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. ~ Colossians 2:6-7
